Roles & Responsibilities
Finalize the curriculum and resource materials for the program.
Support trainers in refining workshop materials.
Develop content for assessments, quizzes, and additional learning resources.
Coordinate with trainers to integrate relevant content for workshops.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Social Sciences, Literature, or any related field. A degree in Instructional Design, Content Development, or Curriculum Design would be highly beneficial.
- Postgraduate degree (e.g., M.A. in Education, Instructional Design, etc.) may be preferred but not mandatory.
2. Work Experience
- At least 1-2 years of experience in content development, curriculum design, or educational material creation.
- Experience in creating learning resources like assessments, quizzes, study guides, and lesson plans.
- Experience in supporting trainers or educators with refining and enhancing workshop materials or curriculum content is an advantage.
- Familiarity with the education sector and knowledge of best practices in developing educational content.
3. Skills Required
- Content Creation Skills: Ability to create engaging and informative content for a variety of learning materials, including curriculum resources, quizzes, assessments, and additional learning tools.
- Understanding of Learning Objectives: Ability to design content that aligns with specific learning outcomes and educational standards.
- Writing and Editing Skills: Strong written communication skills to ensure the content is clear, concise, and suitable for the target audience.
- Collaborative Skills: Ability to work closely with trainers and other team members to integrate the right content into workshops and training sessions.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple content development tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Instructional Design: Basic knowledge of instructional design principles or experience with designing interactive learning content.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure that all content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligns with program goals and learning outcomes.
- Technology Skills: Basic proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), content creation tools (e.g., Google Docs, Canva), and basic learning management systems (LMS) is desirable.
4. Location and Work Permit
- The employee must be eligible to work in Karnataka, meaning they must either be an Indian citizen or hold a valid work visa if they are foreign nationals.
- The candidate should be based in Karnataka or willing to relocate for this role.
5. Language Skills
- Fluency in English (written) is essential, as much of the content will need to be created in English.
- Proficiency in Kannada or another local language is an added advantage, as it may help with content localization and understanding the local context.
- Ability to adapt content to be culturally and linguistically appropriate for students in Karnataka.
6. Availability
- The candidate must be available to start immediately or within a short notice period.
- Ability to dedicate full-time hours to content development, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities as needed.
7. Other Attributes
- Creative Thinking: Ability to come up with innovative ideas for creating engaging and interactive learning materials.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Capacity to adapt content based on feedback from trainers or the program’s evolving needs.
- Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills to work with trainers and other team members to refine and enhance the training materials.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet content deadlines.
- Attention to Audience Needs: Sensitivity to the learning styles and needs of the target audience (school students) and the ability to tailor content to ensure it is engaging and effective.
Additional Considerations:
- Knowledge of Local Education Context: Understanding the education system in Karnataka and the specific challenges or needs of students in this region can enhance the relevance of the content.
- Familiarity with Educational Tools: Knowledge of educational tools, LMS platforms, or digital learning tools that can enhance the learning experience would be a plus.
Training and Onboarding (Conditions)
(2 Weeks no pay and Fees of 70% of their 1 month Salary before joining which be refunded on completion of 3 months successful probationary period )
Goal: Equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to execute their roles effectively.
Schedule:
2 weeks of training for all employees, divided into:
Pre-Training (2 days): Introduce employees to the program, its goals, and expectations.
Core Training (10 days): Provide in-depth training for each role and ensure all employees are aligned with the program’s vision.
Post-Training (2 days): Evaluate performance and issue certifications upon successful completion.
Employee Roles & Responsibilities during Training:
Program Manager: Oversee training, monitor progress, and ensure that all employees are engaged and understand their roles.
Operations Manager: Ensure smooth logistics for the training, coordinate training materials, and handle all administrative tasks.
Trainers (Core): Deliver the core training sessions, focusing on specific skills required for each role.
Sales & Marketing Lead: Provide insights on sales strategy and community engagement.
Sales Executives: Learn the sales process, understand the program’s benefits, and develop persuasive skills.
Counselors: Familiarize themselves with counseling techniques and individual student roadmap creation.
Content Developers: Support trainers with content material and develop learning resources.
Admin Support & Customer Support: Assist with administrative and logistical support during training.
